School Education
Programs
Currently, the Waste Services Division
offers environmental education programs, materials, and presentations
to increase school-aged children's awareness of the environment. These
programs are available to all public and private schools throughout
Will County.
One key feature of the school education
program is the Earth Award Program. More than forty schools have participated
in this program since it was established in 1999. Click on the flag
below to learn more about this program and how your school can participate.
