Community & Regional Planning Day

8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 

We will have refreshments, maps on display, and updates on our activities since the adoption of the award-winning Land Resource Management Plan.  Several video and slide presentations will be continually run throughout the day.

You are simply welcome to drop in on our offices on the 4th floor at 58 East Clinton Street in Downtown Joliet, give us your two cents, or just see what's been happening.

Since 2001, November 8th has been proclaimed “Community and Regional Planning Day” in Will County in conjunction with World Town Planning Day. To celebrate, the Will County Planning Division has hosted an annual open house and other activities.

World Town Planning Day has been celebrated worldwide since 1949 as a strategy to promote broad-based awareness, support, and advocacy of community and regional planning among the general public and all levels of government

Please come and celebrate World Town Planning Day with us on Thursday, November 8th!
