Smart
Energy Design Assistance Center, located in Champaign, Illinois provides
FREE technical assistance to local, state and federal governments,
public schools, community colleges, public universities, public safety,
water and park districts and small (under 500 employees), for-profit
businesses that are planning energy improvements. Assistance can
be a telephone consultation to a site visit and audit.

Funding
Opportunities through Illinois Energy Efficiency Portfolio Standard (EEPS)
The
Illinois Power Agency Act 2007, created a substantial budget for programs
and incentives to reduce electricity usage and demand for customers of ComEd
and Ameren Illinois. ComEd and Ameren offer rebates for energy
efficiency improvements by residential, commercial and industrial customers
and the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) administers
funds for public sector customers of ComEd and Ameren. More
